10 Day...almost there....ROCKET LAUNCHED!

What an amazing night was had for the Operation ROCKIT USA event. Curves Bar in DOCKLANDS was the perfect location, the staff and owners Mickey & Mery were so gracious and generous. All the guests looked divine in their glamorous threads, best of all we raised $4k for Pocket Rocket's Arnold Fitness Classic competition début.

So as the very,very appreciative recipient of these very helpful funds may I extend a deeply felt and rather emotional THANKYOU to all who attended and gave so freely. Your generosity and support will not be forgotten.

the evening looked a littel like this: after amazing performances from T-3 (the Topless Trio made at least 3 ladies very happy as they got to see and dare I say, taste T-3 up close and personal). An impromptu performance by lil-ol-me to the tunes of a funky version of the PINK PANTHER theme. A very fast paced and action packed auction run by the very encouraging and motivated auctioneer Perry Venakis. The night came to a close in a flurry of Rocket Fuel cocktails(sponsored by the divine organic vanilla vodka-CARIEL).
Special mention and thanks must be made to Dohetys Gym CITY, managed by Alistair White our very gracious MC. Dohertys offered a 1 month gym membership up as an auction item, to our great delight. Also, a very big thanks to HOST PREMIER EVENTS, without whom the evening would never have happened, Joni Hodson's organisation and heartfelt presentation on the evening almost got me to tears (I say almost but I successfully fought them off, just...) and Krystel LoBianco for her wonderful artwork and gift voucher of a Hotel night for 2 with breakfast at one of Melbourne's premier establishments.

Lauren Murphy - the lucky lady who won the auction jackpot item, spending a full 8 hour training and nutrition day with Pocket Rocket.
Marlinda Duskovic-the proud owner of a custom one off designer bikini worn by Pocket Rocket on her Victorian Championship 2009 win. this stunning framed collectors item caused a bidding war, but Marlinda won in the end. Congratulations.
Maria Kirkless- the proud owner of the Pocket Rocket limited edition tee, signed by the 8x Olympia Champion, Ronnie Coleman, with a phot of the great man on his last Australian stage appearance at the IFBB National Titles (whih Sara won the Figure title at)
Curves Bar 'bought' the Topless Trio for an evening of entertainment and Jamie from T-3 purchased the Doherty's Membership (no doubt under pressure to look his best after the new work lining up...lol...).
Finally Perry Venakis has some photoshoots lined up with Rebecca hill and Elsa Sturma, Joni offered her professional makeup artist services as the girls bid hard for this photographic opportunity. In the end they both won as they matched each others offers. So well done to you both.

With 10 days to go, I am excited and ready to get on that plane and hit the USA, words fail me when I try to express how moved I have been with the support and generosity of those around me....so perhaps I should let Perry's photos tell the rest.....
